Arctic: Modernization of regional gas-transport system in Euro-Russian geoeconomic and political cross-roads

The paper estimates the destructive effect of geopolitical instability in Ukraine on the dynamics of the Russian gas transport system; the estimation has been made accounting optimization of natural gas supplies to the EU in terms of increasing production of shale gas in the USA and possibly in the south-east of Ukraine. Social and economic development of Russia is affected as well considering the decisive role of the gas industry in the national economy.

Trends of organizational structure modernization of fishing industry in the Northern basin

Some trends in fishing industry of the Northern basin have been analyzed. It has been proved that as a result of economic reforms and change of the main target criterion for the efficiency criterion cooperative relations within the complex largely have been lost. The possibility of recovery based on the current cluster organizational structure has been shown.
